Insurance-based psychiatry often requires brief, high-volume visits that limit depth, nuance, and collaboration. A self-pay model allows time, flexibility, and professional judgment to guide care rather than billing constraints.

  • Care is guided by an integrative framework that considers biological, psychological, and relational factors. Medication decisions are informed by trauma awareness, psychotherapy principles, and an understanding of how sleep, stress, medical conditions, and life context affect mental health. Treatment plans are developed with attention to both symptom relief and long-term stability.

  • Pricing reflects the time, attention, and clinical complexity involved in this level of care. Fees are listed under services, and there are no surprise charges or insurance-driven limitations on care. The fee covers your time in the appointment; thorough documentation of the appointment; and any care coordination with outside providers or friends/family members that may be necessary.

  • Yes! For those patients who would like to submit a superbill to their insurance provider to see if they would receive partial reimbursement for services at the out of network rate I can quickly generate a superbill at or after time of service.
