My Services:
Diagnostic Psychiatric Evaluation
$450.00
This is where we begin. Everyone’s initial appointment is a 60 to 75 minute in person information gathering session where I will get a good personal psychiatric history as well as a family psychiatric history; personal and family medical history; and a social history. This information is then used to rule in and rule out psychiatric diagnoses. Why is this important? Having at least a working diagnosis (over just treating symptoms as they come up) helps to direct the plan of care we’ll jointly develop before our first session concludes so that we can get you on a path to feeling better. The plan may involve pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, lifestyle modifications, referral for complementary and alternative or talk therapy, or some combination of the above.
Follow-up Appointment
$215.00
Any appointment after the initial diagnostic psychiatric evaluation appointment is considered a follow-up appointment. These appointments can be either in person or telehealth and will run up to 30 minutes as your condition dictates and will cover any changes in mental or physical health since the last appointment and how you are responding to the plan of care developed during the previous appointment. The plan of care will be continued or revised as needed and any questions, comments, or concerns you might have can be addressed during this time. These appointments are typically scheduled every 2 to 4 weeks in early treatment and can stretch to every 4 months as your condition improves. Most commonly, I will ask to see you back in 4 to 8 weeks, especially if we’ve made any changes at that visit.
